DISCIPLINE PROGRAMS

We believe in the right of the teacher to teach without student interruption. We believe in the right of the student to learn without interruption from other students. We believe the ultimate responsibility for a student’s behavior rests with the student and his/her parents.

Juniper Intermediate School hosts a variety of consequences for students that choose to disregard proper classroom behavior or violate school rules.

These consequences range from warnings to suspension. To be consistent and fair in the dispersal of consequences, Juniper Intermediate has established guidelines for teachers and administrators to follow when dealing with discipline. It is our intention to be firm yet maintaining a level of flexibility for individual circumstances.Discipline may fall under classroom management, campus behavior, major infractions and special programs.
