Welcome to Fantastic Fourth Grade!

 My name is Mrs. Hernandez and I am thrilled to be teaching my third year of 4th grade. I have 22 years of teaching experience and teaching here at the Plaza is a joy.  I believe in working with parents and students closely so that your children have success not only academically, but also in their social and emotional growth.  Together as a tight knit team your child will feel more motivated and encouraged in their studies.  4th grade is a fun grade to teach, but it offers many challenges to students.  They are no longer considered a "primary" grade student, but 4th grade is that transitional year in becoming a mature "upper grade" student.  They need guidance and direction to help them be successful.  I will do my best that this goal is met for every student.  I look forward to meeting and working with you and your child!
