Social Studies: We are almost finished with our mummies. They are coming home to you soon. We will be starting our studies of Ancient Greece. A research paper will be assigned in April.
Literature Focus: Ask your child which novel they are reading in literature circles. Please review the vocabulary with your child daily.
New vocabulary should become part of your child's daily oral and written vocabulary.
Math: We are busy applying our computation skills to solve problems of percent, unit rate, tip, tax, discounts,better buy and memorizing and applying formulas.
Be sure your child is going on the IXL website and practicing their math skills for 90 minutes minimum each week..
Science: Ecosystems; We will be dissecting owl pellets.
Writing: Research paper coming in April. Topic: Ancient Civilization
Donations Needed: cases of water, Expo markers or any brand dry erase markers, plastic sleeves, white copy paper, dry erase erasers
