• From the Desk of the Principal

     

    Kathy Moshier was born in Glendale and having moved to the Antelope Valley in 1969, Mrs. Kathy Moshier is a product of the Antelope Valley school systems.  She graduated from Antelope Valley HS in 1983 where she then attended and earned her AA from Antelope Valley College. She then went on to received her BA in Social Science and Multiple Subject teaching credential from Chapman University in 1997, and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership for Fielding Graduate University in 2007.

    Mrs. Moshier started her educational journey as a 2nd grade teacher at Rosamond Elementary School in the Southern Kern Unified School District in 1997.  After teaching for 14 years, she dove into administration where she was the Assistant Principal of Rosamond High School and Tropico Middle School, from 2010-2012 before coming to Palmdale and becoming the Assistant Principal of Desert Willow Intermediate school for the 2012-2013 school year, where she spent 4 years.  She was transferred to Quail Valley in December of 2015 as Interim Principal and remains there today as Principal Scholar.

    Mrs. Moshier has been married to her wonderful husband, J.D., for the past 29 years and has two amazing daughters Danielle, 27 and Alicia, 25, and two fantastic grandchildren.

    Mrs. Moshier supports her community and is a current member of Palmdale Kiwanis West Club.
