Speaker: Dr. Peter Boorman from CalTech
Speakers BIO: Peter is currently a postdoctoral scholar at Caltech. He obtained his Ph.D. in astrophysics at the University of Southampton, UK, in 2019 before becoming a postdoctoral researcher at the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, Czechia. His research focuses on finding and uncovering new supermassive black holes that are actively devouring material.
