Greetings Palmdale School District,
 
Welcome to the Palmdale School District website, the home of the PROMISE. Located in the North part of Los Angeles County. Palmdale schools are among some of the BEST in the Los Angeles area. I am humbled and honored to serve as the Superintendent of the Palmdale School District.
 
We value the collaboration with everyone involved with our school district, including students, staff, faculty, administration, our community, and its leaders, to provide the best education for our students that will prepare them for a career, college, and beyond. To realize this vision, we must work together and focus on student achievement.
 
VALUES & BELIEFS 
Palmdale School District adopted a new set of five values that incorporate most of the current beliefs, sharpening and focusing them according to the district's strategic plan PROMISE:
  • HIGH INTELLECTUAL PERFORMANCE that prepares every student to graduate ready for college, career, and the global 21st-century world.
  • EQUITY for all our students, schools, and communities as reflected in outcomes and opportunities.
  • Facilitating and supporting every student’s achievement by BUILDING ON THEIR STRENGTHS, CULTURES, LANGUAGES, and experiences to create new successes.
  • MULTILINGUALISM and MULTICULTURALISM as individual, community, national, and global assets in the 21st century.
  • INTEGRITY AND COMMUNITY are based on trust and common purpose, which empower individuals and communities.
 
Since the launch of the PROMISE, there is a palpable energy, enthusiasm, and strong commitment to the goals and objectives of the PROMISE. Students themselves are taking up a much more visible role in determining their own futures and in voicing their perspectives. Teachers, administrators, and support staff are thinking deeply about their roles and responsibilities. The idea of what constitutes powerful education is being re-envisioned, and multilingual learning opportunities, the arts, technology, and much more are now being surfaced as essential to a well-rounded education for global competitiveness.
 
I am committed to the Palmdale PROMISE, PROMESA de Palmdale. I genuinely believe that together we can build the BEST school district in Southern California. Thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work!

Bienvenido al sitio web del Distrito Escolar de Palmdale, la casa de la PROMESA. Ubicada en la parte Norte del Condado de los Ángeles. Las escuelas de Palmdale se encuentran entre algunas de las MEJORES del área de Los Ángeles. Me siento honrado y conmovido por la oportunidad de servir como el Superintendente del Distrito Escolar de Palmdale. 

 

Valoramos la colaboración con todos los involucrados en nuestro distrito escolar, incluyendo a los alumnos, personal, facultad, administración, nuestra comunidad y sus líderes, para brindar la mejor educación para nuestros alumnos que los preparará para una carrera profesional, universidad y mas allá. Para hacer realizar esta visión, debemos trabajar juntos y enfocados en el logro estudiantil. 

 

VALORES Y CREENCIAS  

El Distrito Escolar de Palmdale adoptó un nuevo conjunto de cinco valores que incorporan la mayoría de las creencias actuales, agudizándolas y enfocándolas de acuerdo con la PROMESA del plan estratégico del distrito.

  • ALTO RENDIMIENTO INTELECTUAL que prepare a cada alumno a graduarse listo para ir a la Universidad, una Carrera profesional y el mundo global del siglo XXI.

  • EQUIDAD para todos nuestros alumnos, escuelas y comunidades como se refleja en los resultados y oportunidades.

  • Facilitar y apoyar el logro de cada alumno al CONSTRUIR SOBRE SUS FORTALEZAS, CULTURAS, IDIOMAS Y EXPERIENCIAS PARA CREAR NUEVOS ÉXITOS. 

  • MULTILINGÜISMO Y MULTICULTURALISMO como valores individuales, comunitarios, nacionales y globales en el siglo XXI

  • INTEGRIDAD Y COMUNIDAD basada en la confianza y el propósito común que empoderan a los individuos y las comunidades.
 

Dese el lanzamiento de la PROMESA, hay una energía palpable, un entusiasmo y un fuerte compromiso hacia las metas y objetivos de la PROMESA. Los propios alumnos están asumiendo una función mucho más visible en la determinación de sus propios futuros y en la expresión de sus perspectivas. Los maestros, administradores y personal de apoyo están pensando profundamente sobre sus funciones y responsabilidades. La idea de lo que constituye una educación poderosa ha tenido una nueva visión y las oportunidades de aprendizaje multilingüe, las artes, la tecnología y mucho más están surgiendo ahora como cosas esenciales para una educación completa para la competitividad global.

 

Estoy comprometido a la PROMESA de Palmdale. Genuinamente creo que juntos podemos construir el MEJOR distrito escolar en el Sur de California. ¡Gracias por su dedicación, entusiasmo y arduo trabajo!
