We are excited to announce the rollout of Gemini in Workspace for Education Plus, a powerful AI tool now available to all our staff. This technology may enhance your productivity and support our mission of providing a progressive educational environment.
 
Please note that Gemini in Workspace for Education Plus is the ONLY approved AI tool for use within the Palmdale School District (Certificated also has Brisk and Diffit for lesson planning and student engagement).
 
Here are some key points to remember:
  • Data Privacy: Our data privacy is paramount. Gemini operates within a "walled garden" environment, meaning your information is not mined or used for external purposes.
  • Data Privacy Agreement: We have a comprehensive Data Privacy Agreement in place with Google, ensuring the security and confidentiality of our information.
  • Local and Private Data: All data is local and private to your Palmdale School District Google Account.
  • Google Vault: For transparency and compliance, all queries are stored in Google Vault and may be subject to Public Records Requests.
 
You can access Gemini by logging into your Google account, clicking the blue star icon within the Google apps waffle, or visiting gemini.google.com.
