ALL PLANETARIUM EVENTS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
EVENT PARTICIPATION IS ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS, AND AT THE WILL OF THE
PALMDALE SCHOOL DISTRICT IN THE CASES OF THE PLANETARIUM EVENTS, AND AT THE WILL OF THE CITY OF LANCASTER, AND OF COURSE THE WEATHER, IN REGARDS TO THE PRIME DESERT WOODLAND PRESERVE EVENTS.

Bringing in Outside Groups
The SAGE Planetarium is also available for groups from outside of the PSD, for presentations around our regular scheduled shows and hands-on science presentations for the Palmdale School District. We charge $125 per show (1 hour) and it is by appointment. Typically the least impactful times are after 3 p.m., Wednesday afternoons, and times when the Palmdale School District is not in session. We do schedule regular daytime shows when they are not being utilized by the PSD.
Events for Large Groups
We also allow large groups to come on those nights on a case-by-case basis at 6:30. They must make a reservation ahead of time and be large enough that our regular show at 5:30 would be impacted by their size. This includes groups like charter schools, scout groups, church groups, etc.
