Healthy Celebrations

Palmdale School District is committed to providing a school environment that supports children’s health, well-being and ability to learn by supporting healthy eating habits and physical activity.  In an effort to provide our students with the healthiest environment we can, and to adhere to the District’s Wellness Policy, we are asking parents/guardians or other volunteers support the district’s wellness goals by providing only healthy snacks for classroom parties, birthday treats and other celebrations.  Cupcakes, cookies, candy, chips and sugary beverages are no longer welcome at school parties and celebrations or for rewards and incentives.

Healthy snacks help students maintain energy throughout the day and help ensure they are ready to focus and learn. By working together, we can support your children – our students to build healthy life-long eating habits and be the healthiest they can be.

Please contact your school site principal if you have any questions. Thank you for supporting our efforts to provide the healthiest learning environment we can for our students.
