Hello Buena Vista School Families and Community!

 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Annie Kim, and I am delighted to join you as the Assistant Principal at Buena Vista Elementary School. It is with great excitement and commitment to work alongside Principal Streeter, teachers, staff, students, families and community to make this year outstanding!

 

This school year marks my 17th year in education. I am thrilled to bring my experience and passion to our school community. Throughout my career, I have served as an Assistant Principal at Palm Tree Elementary School for two years, and as a New Jersey native, I have experience as an instructional coach, general education teacher and special education teacher. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary General and Special Education, a Master of Arts in Educational Technology, and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership.

 

As we embark on this new school year, my goal is to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive. I am committed to empowering our students, celebrating their achievements, and working collaboratively with our staff and families to ensure the success of each child.
