Assistant Principal

My name is Janet Morris, and I am honored to be the Assistant Principal at Ocotillo. I am thrilled to embark on my journey as an instructional leader within the Palmdale School District.

Since 2011, I have been dedicated to the Palmdale School District, teaching in an Elementary setting for all grades K-5 (except 4th). I have actively contributed to various committees and initiated numerous after-school enrichment programs.

Throughout my educational journey, I have obtained an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Antelope Valley College, a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Mathematics from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from DeVry University. Additionally, I hold a Single Subject Authorization in English and my Educational Administration from California State University, Bakersfield.

I am wholeheartedly committed to supporting the Ocotillo staff, students, and community and collaborating closely with our exceptional Principal to ensure an exceptional school year!
