Assistant Principal

My name is Mrs. Melissa Gorrindo, and I am extremely excited to be the Assistant Principal of SAGE Magnet Academy for the 2023-24 school year.  This is my eighth year as an Administrator for the Palmdale School District.  I have over twenty years of experience in education, serving in many different capacities.  I served as an administrator, teacher, and coach.  I have taught elementary, middle school, high school, and at the junior college level.

My educational background includes a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University Irvine and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University.  I look forward to serving the students, parents, and staff at SAGE Magnet Academy, and I will strive to provide every student with the tools necessary to leave ready for success in high school and beyond.  I am proud to be an Eagle!
