Welcome Coyote Families!

My name is Tracey Webb, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of Cactus Medical, Health, and Technology Magnet Academy. I began my career in the Palmdale School District in 1998 after graduating from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Psychology. I also hold a Master's Degree in Education Administration. My first teaching position was at Palm Tree Elementary as a 4th-grade teacher. I remained at Palm Tree for 12 years, taught at Tumbleweed Elementary for 6 years, and then here at Cactus for 2 years before joining the PSD administrative team in 2018. I have 20 years of experience teaching grades 4-8, and have been a Curriculum Resource Teacher and Intervention Teacher. I have also served as a Mentor Teacher/Support Provider and AVID National Staff Developer.

I believe that ALL students have the ability to learn, and wish to partner and collaborate with families to ensure that our children leave our school with academic proficiency, competence in 21st Century skills, and a strong character. As a parent myself, I also understand and emphasize the importance of our children growing in a safe, nurturing, fun, and engaging learning environment built upon positive relationships.
