Child Nutrition
Palmdale School District is pleased to continue offering breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students at no charge for the 2024-2025 school year. Elementary students receive breakfast in the classroom after the bell, and students attending our Magnet Academies are welcomed into the cafeteria for breakfast one-half hour before the start of the school day. Palmdale Academy Charter School students are offered a grab-and-go breakfast as they enter the gate.
Students enrolled in after-school programs receive a supper and snack at no charge through participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Supper is served immediately after the school day ends, with a snack two hours later. Children enrolled in Early Childhood Education Programs, including Head Start, Early Head Start, and State Preschool, receive free meals and snacks through CACFP.
Please submit an Education Benefits Form for each household. This short survey ensures maximum funding is available for each school and classroom. The data collected in this survey is confidential and not considered a public charge.
Our team of over 250 Child Nutrition professionals, serving nearly 29,000 meals daily, is dedicated to supporting the education of our students through healthful and delicious meals.
